Lyrical / Contemporary
Curriculum Director: Natalie Schweikert
EAC’s Lyrical and Contemporary program explores the artistry, emotion, and intention behind movement. While strong technique remains a key foundation, this curriculum is centered around storytelling, expression, and personal connection to dance.
Each level is carefully designed to foster a safe, supportive space for creativity while progressively building technical strength, control, and versatility. Dancers are encouraged to discover their unique voice, understand the “why” behind their movement, and translate emotion into motion with clarity and purpose.
This program is ideal for dancers looking to grow both as technicians and artists, developing not only how they move, but why they move.
